Saturdays' activities are run in conjunction with the Walcha Farmers Market and Trash n' Treasure Market in the lovely Walcha township. Participate in the 75 kilometre PKF Walcha Road Ride cycle challenge or watch the Billy Cart Derby. The popular Quilt Exhibition runs over both days in the Langford woolshed.
Sundays' activities are held in the picturesque grounds of historic Langford homestead, one kilometre south of Walcha on Thunderbolts Way. The day of festivities is run in conjunction with the fundraising Westpac Rescue Helicopter Mountain Bike Challenge. It provides a fantastic day out with quality market stalls, great food, wool fashion parades, live entertainment, tours of historic Langford Homestead, free kids activities and the Langford Bar serving local craft beers and boutique wines.
Vintage cars and motorcycles are on display as well as model ships on the Langford lake. The quilt exhibition in the lovely Langford Woolshed is a must see. A horse trail ride is also available (bookings are essential). There are great raffle prizes to be won.
