Lizzie drove our midwifery tour (@JonBainesTours) through the top end visiting Darwin, Kakadu, Katherine and Tiwi Islands. Her wealth of knowledge and obvious passion for her job as well as her love of the NT and sharing with us made it the most exceptional experience!

Wonderful day out, a surprisingly interesting and informative event led by Paul aka Meatloaf aka Animal, our driver, guide and mentor….who kept us entertained during the bus time and bossed us when needed. Animal knows his stuff and delights in passing on some of his love of ‘country’ it was all very informative, enlightening and culturally on the money, highly recommended

We will recommend this 1 day tour to our friends. Many thanks for a good trip. Our tour guide Liz was very very very knowledgeable and kept us entertained. Would of been nice to have lunch included but overall a great experience.

It was very informative and we had a lovely small group in our tour. The tour highlight was the rock art sites and 360 degrees of kakadu Park which is amazing. Worth your money.

Fantastic day made even better by our tour guide Peter and his extensive knowledge of Kakadu and indigenous culture. I can't believe that he had so many stories. It was a very long drive out to Kakadu and back however Peter made it shorter with his anecdotes and lectures. There were only 6 people on the tour which was great and felt much more comfortable than the bigger tours. We only got to see a fraction of Kakadu but it was more than enough to give us a taste for more. Great tour, great guide, highly recommended!

Really got extra value on this trip! Due to lower numbers we were able to switch from Bus to 4 wheel drive after dropping off some travelers at the Crocodile jumping cruise. Moving on to Fogg dam we were lucky to have a bird watching enthusiast on board to add extra commentary to our Guide Peter's stellar knowledge. We climbed rocks at Ubirr and got up close to Aboriginal art and watched on in stealth as the crocdiles positioned themselves around Cahill's Crossing and we fitted in an extra trip to Mamukala wetlands and an art gallery near Jabiru and a few other stops along the way all the while listening to the interesting local knowledge and customs for this area. Then we got back in time to see Territory Day fireworks! Great day out.

It was an amazing day tour! I really recommend doing the wetlands (you can do jumping crocs some other day - on this tour you'll see plenty of crocs at Cahills Crossing), it was such a special experience - we saw hundreds of birds and at least 20 different bird species. Ubirr was breathtaking! Overall the tour was very well organised, and because we were only 4 people, they provided a 4WD instead of a bus, so driving was very fast. Peter told us so many stories both about nature we were seeing and about aboriginal culture.

Peter was our tour director/guide/driver for the day. He was a 'tower' of knowledge about Kakadu and provided commenarty/information throughtout the day. The Jumping Crocs was excellent

Delighted to be picked up from our accommodation. Our guide Lizzie was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. She couldn’t have been more pleasant and interesting. Our optional “Jumping Croc” boat ride was fantastic- great value - very informative & interesting commentary. Small group, very comfortable and air-conditioned vehicle/s. Highly recommended!
